Sam Kendall

CEO

Sam is the founder and CEO of Kendall Training, established in 2014 after serving as an Emergency Medical Technician with the East Midlands Ambulance Service for 8 years.

Her frontline experience shaped not only her expertise but her deep commitment to the people and communities she supports.

She works with companies to build connections and specialises in delivering First Aid and Mental Health training.

Ellie Stevens-Fowler

Associate Trainer

Ellie is an experienced Paramedic and an Advanced Clinical Coordinator in Wales.

She has experience and incredible knowledge in laboratory science, frontline pre-hospital care, education, and virtual ward leadership.

Ellie delivers a wide range of our medical and first aid training.

Simon Nutman

Associate Trainer

Simon is an extensively experienced Fire Fighter, Medical Technician, Security Operative, and Dog Handler. He is based in the South of England.

Simon brings his experience, passion and drive to our team.

He draws on his experience as a Fire Fighter and the emergencies he attended into all of his training that he delivers.

Simon specialises in delivering first aid courses.

John Armitage

Associate Trainer

John is a CBT therapist, mindfulness teacher and wellbeing specialist based in the Lincolnshire.

He works with professionals, leaders and organisations who want to sustain performance without tipping into overload.

Alongside one-to-one therapeutic support and coaching, he delivers training and leadership development programmes focused on awareness, balance and sustainable effectiveness.

Stevie Burley

Associate Trainer

Stevie is our HR specialist in the East Midlands.

She tailors support across employee relations, performance management, change initiatives, recruitment and onboarding.

She supports businesses through project-based work or ongoing retained support.

She is also an Insights Discovery Licensed Practitioner.

Garth Stinson

Associate Trainer

Garth has an extensive work history within the Police and the UK Ministry of Defence as a Chief Inspector of counter terrorism.

He now specialises in delivering conflict management, situational awareness and personal safety training.

He believes in keeping people safe, in spotting and de-escalating early signs of aggression and safely manage conflict.

Andi Brown

Associate Trainer

Andi is a retired Police Officer with thirty years of experience gained within Greater Manchester Police Service. Now based in Lancashire.

She has vast expertise in delivering comprehensive training programmes within the Police service and the community.

Andi delivers our specialist ligature training alongside our mental health training courses.

Neil Rooney

Associate Trainer

Neil has been a paramedic for over 25 years and is based in North Yorkshire.

Drawing on a long, varied, and hands-on career, he brings real-life insight to his training. He can translate complex clinical concepts into practical, relatable scenarios that build confidence, competence, and genuine readiness.

Neil delivers our first aid and medical training courses.

Jason Bishop

Associate Trainer

Jason’s background is in the RAF Regiment and a first responder for the East of England Ambulance service and is based in Norfolk.

He has drawn on years of experience and delivers very engaging training in First Aid and Health & Safety.
