Course Introduction

We believe in working with companies and offer a range of mental health training courses from half day sessions to 2 full days of training. All of our Mental Health courses include continuous support for all delegates after the training has been completed. We work with your HR team to ensure we align with your polices.

Course Overview

Two full day course covers the following topics:

  • Recognise those who may be experiencing poor mental health and provide them with first-level support and early intervention
  • Encourage a person to identify and access sources of professional help and other supports
  • Practise active listening and empathy
  • Have a conversation with improved mental health literacy around language and stigma
  • Learn about Anxiety, Stress, Depression, Suicide, Self harm and Eating Disorders
  • Explore boundaries, limitations and confidentiality
  • Self-care and it's importance
  • Know how to use the Hub of Hope app
  • Know how to access a services provided by Shout
  • On going support from your tutor after the course has finished

One day courses cover the following topics:

We also offer half day courses and bespoke training to meet your needs on any mental health topic you feel is needed in your workplace.

 

This training does not train individuals to be a councillor or therapist. This certificate is valid for 3 years.

  • First Response Emergency Care FREC 3

    FREC 3 is a regulated, nationally recognised pre‑hospital care qualification. It is typically delivered over 5 days.
